Keeping Baby Safe
It is a child's fundamental right to be protected from harm, and as a parent you are your baby's protector, nurturing his development and wellbeing by providing a safe environment for him to grow up in. And you will continue to be the protector until such time that he has grown into being an independent individual (even then you are likely to be still giving words of advice!!!).
Note: Your SUPERVISION in and away from the home environment is crucial in keeping your baby safe as well as ensuring the equipment you require (e.g. cot, pram, high chair, car seat, change table etc) is that of the recommended safety standard code in your country. As your baby grows and becomes mobile you will become more and more aware of hazards that he needs to be protected from.
